List Your Favorite Books And Reads

Are you a casual reader and or passionate about reading for enjoyment? Do you have a list of your favorite books and reads? It can be any type of read and or book, past, present or on the list of what you want to read. It can even be a comic book or a book filled with photos and illustrations. I am interested in hearing from your recommendations of your favorite reads and books.

Did you know I failed the first grade, because I literally did not know my ABC's and I did not know how to read? True story. I was even made fun of, called dumb and I was teased about it growing up. I am so grateful how my mother spent extra time to use colored alphabet blocks to assist me to visually identify each alphabet and to have me say each letter so that I could audibly hear myself say it. To think, I learned how to fail as early as I did is a true blessing in my life in disguise that I am forever grateful of that opportunity to persevere. I was discouraged by a lot of people due to flunking and I never got held back since flunking the first grade. Why? I never held myself back from accomplishing what I want to accomplish. Today, I am passionate about reading, writing, comprehending, interpreting, and conversing in various languages and helping and assisting others. I recall the time I volunteered my time at a preschool and I read to this infant girl and I haven't forgot her smile when I read to her. Yes, I love to read for enjoyment. No kidding here and you can scroll down to see my list of my favorite books and reads.
